The leader of the Scottish Conservative Party joined in the media smokescreen attack on the British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn by stating on Twitter that “simply seeking peace [with the IRA] is offensive.” This would imply that volunteers in Ireland did not have just cause to defend their country from a violent and oppressive British military occupation that has been found to have violated human rights. It would also imply that she isĀ against the Good Friday Agreement and in favour of further conflict.
