The chair of City of Glasgow College and an OBE says that he posted anti-SNP memes to his personal Facebook account, in violation of the college’s code of ethics, in order to support his friend the Conservative and Unionist MP David Mundell. This is a classic example of the use of assets and agents of influence straight out of the Bell Pottinger playbook.

The David Mundell for MP and not the SNP Facebook community page purports to be a “grassroots” social media page. It is actively encouraging all unionists to back the Conservative Party, tactically. This is a routine Bell Pottinger tactic – the creation of apparently popular front social media fora in support of the Union.
